The Grand Ole Opry ushered in its one centesimal 12 months on the airwaves at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium, the Opry’s most well-known former house, on Jan. 3 with the Opry’s longest-tenured member ever, Invoice Anderson, who kicked off the one centesimal celebration with newly-written lyrics to the usual “Will The Circle Be Unbroken.” Joined by the remainder of the night’s forged, Anderson sang:

On Saturday night, the Opry devoted its present to President Jimmy Carter, who had visited the Opry earlier than, throughout, and after his presidency. Opry member Charlie McCoy carried out “Georgia On My Thoughts”, the official state tune of Carter’s house state, in his honor.
